Slot Channel
The Slot Channel Swallow is a performance-based/everyday shortboard design that Jack has been shaping and developing for the past 20 years. Jack has always been drawn to the swallowtail design due to its ability to easily generate speed and drive while maintaining good control in steeper wave faces.
We make slight variations of this board depending on customer requirements but the standard dimensions at 6’0” are 20 1/8” wide x 2 1/2” thick with a 6 1/2” swallow. tail. Finer rails, a medium nose rocker with a late kicked tail rocker. The bottom shape consists of a single to double concave vee with a soft slot channel beneath the back foot which gives the board more acceleration.
